The 10th season of Nigeria's premier reality TV show, Gulder Ultimate Search will be kicking off soon. Once again, the audience has been given the responsibility of selecting the Gatekeepers that will appear on this season's show. What they will do on GUS 10 may not be known, but it is certain that 2 out of the 9 past winners will be voted to these positions by you the fans.

Last year, 3 Gatekeepers - Dominic Mudabai, Michael Nwachukwu and Christopher Okagbue, winners of Seasons 4, 5 and 8 respectively, emerged as the viewers' choice from a pool of 8 past winners. 2 Arik Air Hostesses Nabbed For Drugs In London.

A statement by the Head of Press and Public Affairs Section, British High Commission, Rob Fitzpatrick and The management of Arik Air, on Tuesday confirmed the arrest of two Arik Air staff at the Heathrow Airport in London, England for suspected drug trafficking.

He said, “The two, Nigerian women aged 37 and 32, who worked for the airline Arik Air, had arrived on a flight from Lagos, Nigeria on the evening of Monday, May 20.

“They were arrested after a package of drugs was discovered by Border Force officers on a bus which had been used to transport air crew.

The issue was first conformed by the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency, NDLEA which disclosed that it had already opened investigations on Tuesday afternoon, shortly after the Arik Airline workers were allegedly nabbed with the illicit drugs. The value of the drugs was put at £ 600,000.

Spokesperson of the NDLEA, Mitchell Ofoyeju described the issue as a national embarrassment. He said “we are aware of the arrest and we have opened an investigation into the matter”

2 suspected car snatchers crashed into building

Two suspected car snatchers were killed on Monday in Abuja when their stolen vehicle fell over a bridge and crashed into an empty residential building in Zuba in the Federal Capital Territory.

The suspects, allegedly snatched a Toyota  Prado jeep and were trying to get away with it when the crash occurred. The suspects were on top speed when the driver lost control of the vehicle and fell from the bridge.
