A report is indicating the more spacious variant of the Golf VII will look more refined and is set to receive an entirely new body. Compared to its predecessor, the upcoming generation will allegedly be 15cm taller which will boost interior space and provide an increased ride height. Passengers will sit straighter on the sliding rear bench seat and will benefit from additional legroom.
The same source indicates Volkswagen is considering a frugal BlueMotion version and a 150 bhp (112 kW) CNG variant as well. It is believed the Golf Plus won't be available in the hotter GTI flavor and will not be sold with an all-wheel drive configuration.
AutoBild.de says the 2014 Volkswagen Golf Plus will have a starting price of approximately 4,869,469.03 NAIRA.
