Nigerian Idol Contestants Party Hard with Phyno At Eviction Party

It was an electrifying Saturday night of pure fun as guests present at the Etisalat-organized eviction party for Xolani and BeeBee Bassey, the recently evicted contestants in the competition, partied non-stop till the break of dawn.

The party which held last weekend at Ntyce Lounge, Karimu Kotun street, Victoria Island, had Nigerian artistes, Phyno and Reminisce, give riveting performances to celebrate Xolani and BeeBee Bassey. It was world class British Nigerian producer and artist, DJ Exclusive who peaked the night with an endless array of music that had the crowd dancing well into the morning. 

Nigerian Idol: Contestants Battle For A Spot In Top 12

It has been a hard-won battle to make it to the top thirty for the Nigerian Idol contestants who have struggled with exhaustion, nerves and against thousands of other hopefuls also looking for their ticket to fame and stardom.

On Sunday,10 of the Top 30 contestants selected had to battle it with stellar and impressive performances for an opportunity to win the hearts of both the judges and the viewers at home.

Performing songs from international artistes such as; Rihanna, Pharrell, Tyrese, Justin Timberlake, Jill Scott, Usher Raymond, Sam Sparrow, Labrinth, Emeli Sandé and Avicii, the first group of 10 had four golden tickets recipient from the audition phase.

Pepsi ambassador and Nigerian pop superstar, Wizkid had a fun filled day with the top ten contestants of Nigerian Idol season 3.

The day started with the contestants, Nigerian Idol crew, Media reps (Bella Naija, Gistmedia NG), PR Agencies, client reps and Wizkid visiting the Gym with the superstar at Radisson Blu Anchorage Hotel, V.I, heads out for a studio session at Wizkid's studio after wards somewhere in V.I,  on air interview with Toolz O on The Beat fm and ended the day with a late lunch at Johnny Rockets VI.

Nigerian Idol Concludes Wild Card Show As Contestants Battle For The Last 3 Spots In The Top 12

It was a night of redemption and a fierce battle over the weekend as the continent’s most entertaining music reality show, Nigerian Idol, held the wild card round show to determine the last set of three finalists that will make it to the finals. Eight contestants were handpicked by the judges from the top 30 contestants to take another chance at the Nigerian Idol Top 12. Unfortunately, Bimi Adegoke opted out of the competition for personal reasons, leaving the wild card contestants as seven.
