Full List Of 2014 BET Winners

The 2014 BET Awards ceremony took place Sunday, and the night's big winner was Beyonce. The pop superstar nabbed three awards, including the 2014 FANdemonium award, voted on by viewers. Pharrell Williams and August Alsina also had a happy night, taking home two awards apiece.  

Nicki Minaj won for best female hip hop star, and in her acceptance speech, she praised herself as a hip-hop star who doesn't have someone writing for her, an apparent dig at Iggy Azalea. Drake beat out Jay Z for best male hip hop star and our very own Davido won an award for best African act.

The nominees for the 2013 Nigeria Entertainment Awards were announced yesterday at the Nominee Announcement event held in Lagos, Nigeria at Euphoria nightclub.

The Nigeria Entertainment Award (NEA Awards, www.nigeriaentawards.com) was established in New York City in January of 2006. NEA Awards is an annual event focused on recognizing the many contributions of African Entertainers to a thriving entertainment industry. The producers of the event are dedicated to promoting the image and rich culture of Nigeria in the continent and around the globe. This dedication has increased the awareness of a new edgy style of African Entertainment that has helped promote Nigerian acts to the world.
