Channel O Music Video Award 2013 Full list of winners

The Annual Channel O Africa Music Awards celebrate 10 years of being the leading and most consistently exciting music awards event on the continent. It’s an open field this year, with a fantastic list of nominees from across the continent, representing the different genres that make Africa shine. The awards featured a sparkling line-up of guest present, on-point hosts and once-off live performances from some of the continent’s best and biggest artists.

The annual awards which marks its tenth series is taking place at the Walter Sisulu Square, in Kliptown, Soweto and was hosted by hip hop artistes, Naeto C from Nigeria and South Africa’s AKA.

The biggest winner of the night was P-Unit, who took home two awards for Most Gifted Ragga / Dancehall Video and Most Gifted African East Video. Oskido won the Most Gifted African South Video award, and was also featured on Professor’s Finger Prints which bagged the Most Gifted Kwaito Video award. Another multiple winner was the Nigerian R&B duo P-Square who picked up the Most Gifted African Video West award along with the Special Recognition Award for their significant contribution to African music.
