There are strong indications that the presidency has ordered the State Security Service, SSS to investigate the recent killing of two personnel of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps in Ikorodu area of Lagos, south-west Nigeria.
President Goodluck Jonathan obviously rattled by the incident want the SSS operatives to investigate the matter, since the government secret police could be neutral and not easily compromised in its investigations.
