NEW MUSIC: RUNZ - First Time

Meet RUNZ (Obiora Ohatz) a songwriter and singer with a knack for doing it all – he’s a graphic artist/animator and also nixed a promising opportunity to become an architect for the love of music. 

Runz is known for being consistent with the quality of his singles so far. He first hit the scene with the banger ‘BUGA’ ft Nasty J and since then, the singer and brands guru hasn’t looked back. 

That single got him to the final round of the YNaija Next Best Thing competition which he won. After that, it was ‘THE CLOSER I GET TO YOU’, produced by Funkmasta and the first of a series of singles leading up to his upcoming EP 'The Rehearsal'. Now, he gives us another love song in ‘FIRST TIME’. The song is a slow and rhythmic pop rendition.

New Music: RUNZ - THE CLOSER I GET TO YOU

Obiora Ohazurume aka Runz is no stranger to the Nigerian music scene. His first single Buga featuring Nasty J got him to the final round of the YNaija Next Best Thing competition which he subsequently went on to win. Buga got massive radio play and was popular with housemates in the Big Brother Africa house 2 seasons running.

The singer and graphics designer makes a return with a love song titled 'The Closer I Get To You' produced by Funkmasta. This is the first of a series of singles leading up to his upcoming EP 'The Rehearsal'. Listen up and enjoy!
