Two African music power house unite to deliver this ode to the African woman. Here we hear the “Wombolombo” madam, Angélique Kidjo with her sonorous voice blend perfectly with Asa’s to deliver some great music. The Beninese icon Angélique Kidjo returns to diva-dom with her album titled EVE as an ode to women across the continent.

The collaboration rich Eve is set to be released  early next year through 429 records features the joint efforts of Vampire Weekend‘s Rostam Batmanglij, Kronos Quartet, NOLA legend Dr. John, as well as Kenyan and Beninese women’s choirs. The first single “Eva” (not to be confused with the album name) showcases a double dose of vocals from Nigerian/French soulstress Asa.

Rapper Eva Narrates How She Got Involved In An Accident Because Of Her EX.

“It was a crazy wake-up feeling yesterday July 9th. I practically didn't want to get out of bed cause I was so sick with the Flu. I had just flown back from Abuja the night before and it seemed perhaps, the only thing I got back from Abuja was the damn flu! I didn't even buy my favorite snacktime crunch, Kilishi - which I am still mad about by the way.

My head was hurting like hell, my throat was so sore I could barely swallow a thing. Santiago, my good friend was over at my apartment to pick me up for the day. Seeing my condition he asked that I stayed home and rest the day out.

Flavor, Terry G & Eva to rock St. Eve Summer Jam Fest with Rick Ross

Terry G; Oyi crooner, Flavour; fast rising female rapper, Eva Alordiah and Ghanaian Azonto singer, Fuse ODG have been billed to perform alongside international rap artist, Rick Ross in the Summer Jam Fest concert. Also billed to perform at the concert are Liquideep (South Africa), Flowsick, Dammy Krane, Burner Boy while Nigerian premium DJ, DJ Jimmy Jatt will man the turn table.

   Summer Jam Fest 2012 which will hold at the New Expo Hall, Eko Hotel, Victoria Island,          
   Lagos on the 17th of August 2012 will see the two popular musicians reel out songs 
    from their rich repertoires of music.

Speaking on the concert, a representative of St. Eve magazine said that Summer Jam Fest 2012 is geared to set the tone for an annual concert to promote health and proper lifestyle, and this year, we have specifically chosen Flavour, Terry G, Eva and Fuse ODG to perform at the event because of their current form and vigour at which they perform at concerts.
