The police have arrested an Ibadan-based Imam, who wanted to avenge the cruelty of his boss to his senior wife by having her rival killed. Arowolo Lateef, 45, the Muslim cleric who doubles as a security guard at a filling station owned by Mr Muyiwa Abidoye had hired Ikechukwu Christopher, 35, a self-confessed assassin based in Ago-Iwoye, Ogun State to murder, Mrs. Ololade Abidoye, his master’s favourite and new wife, as he said, out of pity for the older wife, who he had watched maltreated in the Abidoyes’ home.
