Prophet Obadare to be buried in August

The family of the late Timothy Obadare, said on Thursday in Akure, the Ondo State capital that he would be buried in August.

Abraham Obadare, one of the sons of the late cleric and a pastor, said that arrangements are still ongoing to organise a befitting burial for their father in August.

The son said that the place where their father would be buried was yet to be determined.
He, however, said that the family would not want their father to be idolised.
“There have been suggestions on where the late evangelist should be buried but we are still praying on it.

“We will definitely want him to be honoured, but not to be idolised because we do not want them to shift focus from God.

“The burial will be done in such a way that people can go to the place and pray if they wish and for the purpose of history as the case may be,” he said.

Abraham added that the burial arrangements would be communicated in due course.
Timothy Obadare, a renowned evangelist and founder of the World Soul Winning Evangelical Mission, WOSEM, died on March 21 after battling an undisclosed ailment.
