Former Chelsea and PSG coach, Carlo Ancelotti Appointed As Real Madrid Manager as Laurent Blanc moves in at PSG

Real Madrid have confirmed the appointment of the Italian Carlo Ancelotti as their new coach, with the former Chelsea and Paris Saint-Germain Manager signing a three-year contract.

The Italian will be presented to the media in the Bernabéu's Royal Box on Wednesday having been replaced at Parc des Princes by the former France World Cup winner Laurent Blanc.

Ancelotti began his career in 1974 with Parma. In 1979, he transferred to Roma, as captain and midfielder, where he won the Italian championship in 1983, the Coppa Italia four times, and helped Roma to reach the European Cup final in 1984. From 1987 until 1992, he played for Milan, and was part of the squad that won consecutive European Cups in 1989 and 1990.

He went on to take charge of Parma, Juventus, Milan - where he won the Champions League in 2003 and 2007 - as well as Chelsea prior to joining PSG.

Rafa Benitez Appointed Napoli Manager.

Former Chelsea interim coach, Rafa Benitez has been appointed as the new coach of Italian Serie A side, Napoli.

He replace Walter Mazzarri who takes over as Inter Milan's news trainer.
Benitez's appointed was announced via twitter by Napoli president Aurelio De Laurentiis.
"Rafa Benitez is the new coach of Napoli. A man of great international experience. A leader," he said on twitter.

The Spaniard's appointment was also confirmed on the club's website, with the club confirming signing an agreement with him in London on Monday.
Benitez who has once coached Inter Milan takes over at Napoli having won the 2013 Europa League with Chelsea.

David Moyes to Become Manchester United Manager

David Moyes was handed a six-year contract to become manager of Manchester United on Thursday, showing the deep belief the club has in naming the Scot as Sir Alex Ferguson's successor. Moyes, who accepted replacing British football's most successful manager presents a sizeable challenge, was preferred over José Mourinho due to the longevity of his 11-year tenure at Everton during which he rebuilt the club.

Moyes was the favoured candidate of Ferguson, with his recommendation being "unanimously" approved by the United board, an indication of how the outgoing manager will continue to be a strong influence on the direction of the club.
