Former Chelsea and PSG coach, Carlo Ancelotti Appointed As Real Madrid Manager as Laurent Blanc moves in at PSG

Real Madrid have confirmed the appointment of the Italian Carlo Ancelotti as their new coach, with the former Chelsea and Paris Saint-Germain Manager signing a three-year contract.

The Italian will be presented to the media in the Bernabéu's Royal Box on Wednesday having been replaced at Parc des Princes by the former France World Cup winner Laurent Blanc.

Ancelotti began his career in 1974 with Parma. In 1979, he transferred to Roma, as captain and midfielder, where he won the Italian championship in 1983, the Coppa Italia four times, and helped Roma to reach the European Cup final in 1984. From 1987 until 1992, he played for Milan, and was part of the squad that won consecutive European Cups in 1989 and 1990.

He went on to take charge of Parma, Juventus, Milan - where he won the Champions League in 2003 and 2007 - as well as Chelsea prior to joining PSG.

Manuel Pellegrini appointed new Man City boss.

Manuel Pellegrini has become the latest product of the Spanish football boom to be picked off by the riches of the Premier League as Manchester City have handpicked the Malaga boss as the man to take them to the next level in the UEFA Champions League after a couple of disappointing European campaigns under Roberto Mancini.

Pellegrini, who stepped down from his position as Malaga coach at the end of last season, joins the Premier League club on a three-year contract and will take up the role on June 24.

Pellegrini said in a statement: "I am delighted to accept this hugely exciting opportunity. The club has a clear vision for success both on and off the pitch and I am committed to making a significant contribution. 


"Everything is in place for Manchester City to continue to be successful and I am excited to be able to work with such a talented squad, the Executive team and the Board to deliver for fans who are renowned for their steadfast support."

Pellegrini has more than 25 years of managerial experience in a career that has seen him take charge of Chilean clubs Universidad Chile, Palestino, O'Higgins and Universidad Catoilica, San Lorenzo and River Plate of Argentina, as well as Villarreal, Real Madrid and Malaga in Spain.

Rafa Benitez Appointed Napoli Manager.

Former Chelsea interim coach, Rafa Benitez has been appointed as the new coach of Italian Serie A side, Napoli.

He replace Walter Mazzarri who takes over as Inter Milan's news trainer.
Benitez's appointed was announced via twitter by Napoli president Aurelio De Laurentiis.
"Rafa Benitez is the new coach of Napoli. A man of great international experience. A leader," he said on twitter.

The Spaniard's appointment was also confirmed on the club's website, with the club confirming signing an agreement with him in London on Monday.
Benitez who has once coached Inter Milan takes over at Napoli having won the 2013 Europa League with Chelsea.

Joke Silva appointed M.D of Kwara film village.

Joke Silva added yet another feather to her  cap as she was recently appointed as the Managing Director of Nollywood Movie Studio otherwise known as Malete Film Village, which is owned by Kwara State University.

The actress while accepting the new appointment, said,“I would be building a movie studio from scratch and making it viable. More importantly, it is supposed to be an underpinning for Nollywood where the skills that are necessary to sustain Nollywood will be taught. It is to train those who have decided to take a profession in the film industry and the various skills that are involved in the industry’.

The Malete Film Village is an independent venture established by the Kwara State University to produce films and also train industry professionals.
