Simon Cowell Tops Forbes List With A $95 Million Annual Income

Simon Cowell has come joint first place on Forbes' list of the highest-paid "personalities" on American television.

Earning $95 million (£61 million), the London-born television producer, entrepreneur and often controversial talent show judge, accompanies Howard Stern at the top of the list.
The 53 year-old British multi-millionaire is known for his barbed remarks as a judge on shows such as Britain’s Got Talent.

Simon Cowell Launches Online Talent Contest

X-factor judge, Simon Cowell, announced a new global online talent contest, "You Generation."

"You Generation" which kicks off March 20, in 15 languages and 26 countries around the world will take things back to basics, featuring unknowns with "unconventional and original talents" performing for webcams in their bedrooms.

The contest will run for an entire year, with different talent categories (and new prizes) rolling out every two weeks. (Or, as Syco's oh-so-British press release says, "every fortnight.") There will also be a grand prize awarded at the end of the year.
