NEW VIDEO: X.O SENAVOE - SAY IT AGAIN

After dropping the emotive and fan-favorite “Beautiful”, and right of the heels of being named an African Hip-Hop king by Lobatana Africa, X.O Senavoe follows up his ground-breaking intro video for “Taxi Music” with the excellent new video for his first solo joint “Say It Again”, produced by Kid Konnect.

The “Say It Again” music video, shot on location all around the world including New York, Ghana, Nigeria, South Africa and Canada, was brought to life by the co-partnering of director Ike Awuah and X.O Senavoe and shows what X.O and #XONATION is all about: the blending of all types of people from all walks of life doing ‘Xtra-Ordinary things in ordinary ways. It also depicts the movement that is the continually-growing thousands of X.O fans around the world.

His twist on the “xo” signature, using “when your chick’s blowing me kisses, she’s really saying my name” serves as a tie-in to the playful nature of the song while solidifying X.O’s royalty ranking as a rap giant. The video will be followed right away by the release of the first single of the year and kicks off what will be a great year of non-stop X.O music.

“The only rapper Stevie Wonder is calling a must-see”. Say It again!

NEW MUSIC: X.O Senavoe – You Ready? + “Lit Up (Freestyle) ft. Irene Logan

A few weeks after giving us the magnificent “Beautiful”, X.O Senavoe, Africa's El presidente, comes bearing gifts! Two of them, as X.O gifts us brand new tunes “You Ready?” and “Lit Up (Freestyle)”.

First up is the Beewirks-produced “You Ready?”, a soulful Hip-Hop opus, with grand piano arrangements, string sections and thumping drum patterns, over which X.O Senavoe raps in excellent braggadocio form, and asks if you’re ready for his much-anticipated debut tape/EP, Xpoint0 and the album which comes after.

On “Lit Up (freestyle)”, X.O Senavoe slows it down on Drake’s “Light It Up” and delivers what is sure to be a rap-along fan-favorite, complemented by a compelling guest vocal appearance from Soul songstress Irene Logan.

These two brand new records from X.O Senavoe are sadly not expected to make Xpoint0, but are still very much vintage X.O which is why he wants his fans and music lovers to digest and enjoy them. Like he says, “my fans are the greatest, and deserve to have more and more music from me.”

NEW MUSIC: X.O Senavoe - Beautiful

After keeping fans in suspense, Africa’s most anticipated lyrical genius X.O Senavoe is back on a “Beautiful” note. Since the ground-breaking release of his “Taxi Music” video, which continues to enjoy tremendous rotation on Pan-African and International television, X.O has been preparing the way to kick-off his takeover year.

“Beautiful”, his brand new single taken from the forthcoming XPoint0 Intro Tape, is produced by DJ Juls, Adey and X.O Senavoe himself. The emotive opus sees Senavoe in his signature poignant story-telling mode over resounding piano chords, commanding drum patterns and a deft string arrangement which culminates into a sound for all moods. It’s beautiful music.

This new single serves as the precursor to the release trail leading to the long-awaited XPoint0 EP/Tape and as X.O puts it, “For me, ‘Beautiful’ is about celebrating everyone’s uniqueness. Remaining who you are, and making the best of all you’re given, is what true beauty is.”
After “Beautiful”, X.O is gearing to take things a notch higher with the release of two brand new singles in the coming weeks. It’s “X.O Senavoe Season”…
