Explosion rocks mall in Banex Area of Abuja, Nigeria's capital

An explosion rocked a shopping mall in Nigeria's capital, Abuja, and witnesses say at least eight people have been killed.

The bomb, concealed in an Abuja Taxi, went off at Emab shopping center after it was dropped by an okada rider.

Gas explosion rocks Ibadan, injures 4

Pandemonium broke out yesterday in Ibadan, Oyo State capital as explosion occurred at Challenge area of the city.

The explosion, in which four men were injured, occurred as a result of gas leakage.

The incident occurred near Hephzbah Petroleum and Gas Limited,  a new dispensing gas plant industry in the state. A Volkswagen Passat with the number plate PH381KJA parked within the vicinity of the industry was also affected.

The four victims who were affected were identified as Oyelani Muftau, Muili Ahmed, Ismail Raji and Paul Sunday. They were immediately rushed to Lad Medical Centre, a nearby hospital for medical attention.

May Day explosion rocks Nyanya, kills 10

 The National Emergency Management Authority (NEMA) has confirmed the death of ten people  from the bomb blast that happened at  in Nyanya Abuja. The agency said several people were also injured in the blast and have been taken to various hospitals in the FCT.

The bomb, which exploded some metres from the scene of the blast that occurred on the 14th of April, was said to have exploded at about 8:20PM from a white Golf Volkswagen vehicle.

The explosion took place at about 8:20PM close to the scene of the last explosion and were also contained in white Golf Volkswagen vehicle.

There are unconfirmed eports that security operatives are trying to defuse two bomb-laden cylinders to avoid another explosion.
