UNVEILED PROJECT 2013 #unveiledproject2013

The search is on for the most creative young fashion designer who would launch his/her outfit by the end of 2013 in the UNVEILED PROJECT, a competition organised to discover, showcase, empower and help to establish talented young Nigerians who desire to take their love for fashion to the next level by either starting their own fashion label or exposing them to already established fashion brands where they could be offered jobs as designers. This competition is organised by AnoksEmma Concepts in conjunction with WalkThruWalls Media and is open to upcoming designers or anyone with passion for fashion and fashion design but have inadequate skills or resources to start, run and excel in the fashion industry.

The UNVEILED PROJECT also aims at exposing each contestant to the challenges and opportunities that abound in the Nigerian fashion market and then help to equip them with ideas and methods to succeed in the fashion industry here in Nigeria and globally.

To ensure that the aim of The UNVEILED PROJECT   is achieved,  this competition would run from march till November after a series of stages that would truly test and nurture the talents of the contestants in order to indentify and hone a range of creative skills and abilities that each person possess. Some of the assigned tasks would include designing for random clients (such as random university students and other individuals), celebrities and TV presenters. Contestants who make it to the semi finals would have the option of attending a fashion school or work as interns with an established fashion designer to help them prepare for the challenges ahead as well as to design and showcase their own collection at the December edition of the UNVEILED FASHION SHOW. There would also be a free one day seminar for all contestants.

The unveiled project is an annual event giving participants enough time to develop and perfect their knowledge of the fashion industry. This maiden edition kicks off in Lagos and is proudly supported by Mylnk Globals Solutions, Snitch NGR, Trends NG, iDoPub Naija, Reel Radio, Concert Plus Radio, Nigerian Tribune, style 411 on galaxy television, Unveiled Magazine, Tiannah Styling

Unveiled Fashion Show is a separate event also organised by AnoksEmma Concepts in conjunction with WalkThruWalls Media to showcase new collections from designers while giving new and upcoming designers the platform to launch their brands into the Nigerianfashion market.

Prizes/benefits

All participants get a free 1 day seminar on fashion design and entrepreneurship, Runners up get equipments to start his/her fashion business  while the Winner gets equipments + cash prize to start his/her fashion business
