Boko Haram Militants Kill 30 boarding Students and Teacher in Mamudo, Yobe State

Gunmen suspected to be members of the Boko Haram militant Islamic group stormed a boarding school in Mamudo, Yobe killing about 30 students and a teacher.

Reports say the attackers who stormed the school around 2am were so brutal and showed no sign of mercy as some of the victims were burnt alive while some escaped with gunshot wounds.

Despite the State of Emergency declared by the Federal Government in three states including Yobe, there violence and clashes in these continue to generate concerns from the international communities


There is currently a heavy presence of military men in the location and all those injured in the attack have being rushed to hospitals in the state capital, Damaturu to receive the much needed medical attention.
