Police responding to reports of shots fired inside YWCA offices discovered two bodies Sunday but said the public is not in any danger.
Officers with guns drawn surrounded the YWCA building in Manchester, and a tactical team was called to assist after a caller reported at 10 a.m. that shots had been fired.
Reports confirmed that a man shot and killed a child before taking his own life. On Sundays, the YWCA is open for supervised child visitation and custody exchanges. Police confirmed there were others inside the building when the shots were fired. The bodies were found in an office area.
The New Hampshire Attorney General's Office and the Manchester Police Department are investigating.
