Ajara killing: Policemen involved in murder arrested

The policemen involved in the killing of two youths in Badagry, Lagos State, have been arrested. The accused officers were arrested on Friday as disclosed by the police authorities.

However, the latest video released in relation to the murder revealed the faces of two officers, namely; Inspector Adefemi Ashogbon, who is the station officer of the Badagry Police Division, and one Sergeant John Sonayon.

The two policemen, including four other unidentified ones were seen at the scene of the murder unperturbed and equally participating in the mob action.

Ashogbon wore a green pullover and holding an AK47 rifle in the video, and also interviewed the victims while they were been tortured.

DailyPost has gathered that two of the Policemen have already been arrested and search is currently on to arrest the rest.

The duo of Ifechukwude Nwaikpor and Kazeem, were lynched in Ajara, Badagry, on July 21, after a disagreement with community members.
