PHOTO: NDLEA Dogs Detect N351M Heroin In Football, Carpets

From Information Nigeria
Sniffer dogs of the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency detected three consignments of heroin hidden inside various sizes of balls and carpets. The estimated street value of the drug is N351m and total weight of 29.260kg. The drugs were factory packed in the cartons containing the balls and the rug.
The heroin was imported from Pakistan through the Nigerian Aviation Handling Company Shed, Murtala Mohammed International Airport. The rug consignment came as cargo on KLM flight while the other two consignments of balls were imported on Saudi Arabia Airline. The importers of the goods abandoned them so no arrests have been made.
NDLEA is doing such a good job of keeping hard drugs out of our society, kudos to them.
