Jamie Foxx picks Daughter as Oscar date

"Django Unchained” star Jamie Foxx was upstaged on the red carpet by his stunning 19-year-old daughter Corinne, who was dressed in a strapless midnight blue gown with woven bodice. The actor, who brought along the beauty – then just 11! – to the Oscars in 2005 when he won for “Ray,” gushed on the red carpet that he was “excited to show how beautiful my daughter has turned out.” Last September, Foxx told omg! that he takes the “homey” approach to raising both of his daughters.

"Like with my oldest daughter, I say, 'Hey, if you're going to drink, pour your own drink, no drugs,’” joked Foxx. “You learn that it's all still the same parenting process, regardless if you're a celebrity or if you're just a person who's working nine to five. The main thing is staying really, really close to them and making them understand that you've been through things and you can help them, but don't try to live your life for them."

Skipper Abduljaleel Ajagun then extended the Flying Eagles lead in the 77th minute when he jabbed home from inside the box after yet another flowing team build-up from the right.

Pyabara then made it 3-1 in the 81st minute when he headed home a delightful cross from the left by Kingsley Madu.

Nigeria arrests Iran-linked terrorist cell targeting U.S and Israel

Nigeria's secret service say they have arrested a "terrorist cell" trained in Iran who planned to attack U.S. and Israeli targets in Africa's most populous nation.
The State Security Service (SSS) said they arrested Abdullahi Mustapha Berende and two other Nigerians in December after Berende made several suspicious trips to Iran where he interacted with Iranians in a "high profile terrorist network".
"His Iranian sponsors requested that he identifies and gathers intelligence on public places and prominent hotels frequented by Americans and Israelis to facilitate attacks," SSS spokeswoman Marilyn Ogar said in a statement.
"There is conclusive evidence that Berende in collaboration with his Iranian handlers were involved in grievous crimes against the national security of this country."
Iran has yet to respond to the allegations.

He says they belong to the same family and were seized by a "known terrorist group based in Nigeria".

Mr Hollande added that the seven - including four children - were probably taken to northern Nigeria. Cameroon's government later confirmed this.

France urged all its nationals in the area to leave as quickly as possible.

The French foreign ministry said on its website citizens were "officially advised not to go to the far north of Cameroon (the shores of Lake Chad in the South Maroua), and the border with Nigeria, until further notice".

Mr Hollande said the Nigerian Islamist group Boko Haram may have been behind the kidnapping.

Medical sources at the Lagos State University Teaching Hospital have revealed that Big Brother Africa singing sensation Oluwabimpe Susan Harvey aka "Goldie" died of Intracranial hemorrhage as a result of hypertension. Several of the sources told Saharareporters exclusively that Mrs. Harvey had bleeding in her brain which could be attributed to hypertension.

The confirmation put to rest earlier speculation by her managers and fans that she died of Deep Vein Thrombosis (DVT) as a result of her long journey from the Grammy's Award in the US.

One of our sources said that they could not immediately determine if drugs consumption triggered the excessive amount of bleeding that killed her as it was rare for someone her age to die of stroke.
