Done Deal as Van Persie moves to Man Utd.

ARSENAL FC and MAN UTD FINALLY AGREES....
Arsenal have agree to sell Robin van Persie to Manchester United. This comes barely three days to the start of the Premiership this weekend. The two clubs announced on their websites that a deal had been struck, with Arsenal adding that "Van Persie will travel to Manchester on Thursday in order to agree personal terms and complete a medical ahead of the proposed move".

The Netherlands international, 29, has one year left on his contract and publicly declared his intent to leave either this summer or on a free next year.

Van Persie, who scored 30 Premier League goals last season, joined the Gunners from Feyenoord in 2004 for a £2.75 million.

The fee for this move has not been confirmed, but it would be close to 10 times that amount, with some putting it in the region of £24m.
