Flood Sacks community as 373 Victims Take Refuge In School

Not fewer than 373 people from the village of Magu ward in Sardauna local government in Taraba state are now taking refuge in Warna Zango Ajiya primary school following a flood and land slide that occurred in the area last week.
Land slide and flood last week displaced over 3000 people from heavy down pour that lasted for over three days while the torrential rain on the Mambila Plateau destroyed farm lands and households.
The displaced people by the unusual down pour includes aged men, women, youths and children who may likely have no house to put their heads in the ongoing season and food to feed following the land slide.
