Steve Wonder files for divorce after 11 years of marriage

He just called to say … I’m leaving you. Stevie Wonder filed for divorce from his wife of 11 years, Kai Millard Morris, on July 26, citing irreconcilable differences. According to the official papers – which the singer “signed” with two fingerprints – the couple has been separated since October 2009.
Wonder, 62, also requested joint custody of their two sons, Kailand, 10, and Mandla, 7, in the divorce papers and agreed to pay spousal and child support. He and the fashion designer have yet to figure out how they will split their assets, the bulk of which he earned long before they wed in 2001.
This was the second marriage for Wonder, who split from first wife Syreeta Wright in 1972.
