Ahmadu Ali Emerges New PDP BoT Chairman

The search for a new chairman of the PDP board of trustees ended on Tuesday as Former National Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party, Dr Ahmadu Ali, emerged as the Chairman of the party’s Board of Trustees.


The election of the Chairman was keenly contested and Ali was favoured ahead of candidates like former Senate President, Ken Nnamani, Cheif Tony Anenih, who is believed to be the President’s candidate, Chief Shuaibu Oyedokun and Chief Emmanuel Iwuanyawu. The position became vacant after the former holder, Chief Olusegun Obasanjo resigned last year.
