Two people died and nine were injured when a helicopter crashed into a crane in central London and plummeted to the ground.
Witnesses reported seeing a “massive ball of flames” after the helicopter crashed into the ground at the peak of rush-hour just after 8am.
It hit a crane attached to a tower in Vauxhall, south London, sending residents, commuters and construction workers running for their lives.
Amid the massive rescue operation, a plume of smoke can be seen billowing into the sky above the area.
