The One Mic Naija rehearsals kicked off this week and from the pictures and chats at the venue, the concert is sure to be a colourful show!
Pryse, unmissable with her auburn hair was the first to rehearse and she spoke briefly on her expectations.
“I absolutely love performing with live bands. I've gotten the opportunity on quite a few other occasions and I'm really looking forward to gracing the One Mic Naija stage”. Pryse who is set to perform hit single, “Eleto” as well as new single “Niger Delta Money” at the show is currently recording for her album, “Enter-Pryse”.
Fefe who was at the rehearsals with fellow A.G.E artise, A.T, put a twist to her song, “Aura”. “It was the first time the band had heard the version I want to perform so I am sure that with a few more rehearsals we will kill it” she said. Psondi, the winner of Top Radio 90.9’s Next Top Talent competition also worked on his winning entry, “Turn Me On”.
Headliner, Vector got into the rehearsal swing of things with “Wasted”. By “popular”, it had become the show before the show!
Rehearsals for the show will hold all week and One Mic Naija rehearsals have proven to be just as popular as the show itself, with fans swinging by to see their favourite acts.
One Mic Naija holds this Sunday at Ember Creek, Awolowo Road, Ikoyi, 5pm.
