Fenerbahçe released a statement on the stock exchange confirming negotiations are underway: "Talks with Norwich City are underway over the loan transfer of Joseph Yobo."
The Yellow Canaries are expected to release a statement confirming the details of the loan deal later today.
Cardiff City came close to signing Yobo over the summer however, the 33-year-old was reluctant to move away from Istanbul due to his family having settled into life in Turkey.
