Kid President, "the self appointed voice of a generation," and President Obama finally met this week as the two shared a few moments in the Oval Office, as seen in this video.
"I think you should try to sit behind the desk so you look a little more efficient," President Obama said to 9-year-old Robby Novak, known to the masses as Kid President.
As the Kid President sat at the Resolute desk and picked up the phone, President Obama warned, "Let's make sure not to cause an international incident."
"How's school going," the president asked to which Kid President responded, "Good."
"It's going pretty good?" Obama asked. "Ok because I know you have all these other activities, so much demands on your time trying to balance being president and being in the third grade. You know? That's a lot of stuff. But you seem to be handling it pretty well."
The president sought Kid President's opinion on how he's performing as commander-in-chief, asking him "any advice for me as just an ordinary president as opposed to kid president?"
"I have one, but it's not really advice, but it's how you're doing. You're doing awesome," Kid President said.
"You keep on doing the great work that you're doing. I'll try to do my best. Between the two of us, maybe we can get kind of get things going in a good direction," President Obama later told him.
"Now even though we're president's can we still hug?" President Obama asked.
"Yes," Kid President said as the real president leaned over to embrace him.
The YouTube sensation, who comes from Henderson, Tenn., helped kick off the White House Easter Egg Roll and even played an April Fools joke on the country on the White House website earlier this week. The boy gained national prominence after his videos were picked up by comedian Rainn Wilson's Soul Pancake website.
